Ethnosh

Food is one of the most basic and elemental ways of understanding who we are. In 2013, I started a project called Ethnosh that connects the public to immigrant-owned restaurants and the families who operate them. We make those connections with storytelling and ticketed dining events. We’ve visited more than 50 restaurants, published their stories in print, online, and with social media. In 2019, we expanded to Dayton, Ohio, America’s first Welcoming City. See more at the Ethnosh website.
